Sound/Peace (Seeking Harmony in Dissonant Times) is an immersive sonic experience accompanied by the changing light of the setting sun. For Dusklit, musicians will include Craig Chin (guitars, loops) Andy Rinehart (accordion and devices) and members of Beacon Rising Women’s Choir, conducted by Gina Samardge.

At the Dusklit Festival, Sound/Peace will occupy the Seligmann Center Gallery Space, visitors will be welcome to come in, relax and be surrounded in sound. During selected spans of the performance, audience members may be invited by the choral conductor to provide simple body percussion and vocal sounds as contributions to the soundscape.

Sound/Peace is an ongoing series, with past performances held at The Howland Cultural Center and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church (with labyrinth!) both in Beacon, NY.
